  Unit 5 What are the shirts made of ? Section A (1a-1c)教案(修改后)

    一、教学目标:

    1 语言知识目标

    1)能掌握以下单词:

    chopstick,coin, fork ,blouse ,silver ,glass,cotton 

    2)能掌握以下句型:

    1 _This ring look nice it made of silver ?

         _Yes, and it was made in Thailand.

    2 What is it made of\from?

    3 Where is it made ?

    3)能够用一般现在时的被动语态描述和询问物品及产地。

    4)能够分析和归纳       be made of, be made from 和 be made in 的
区别,根据实际情境进行理解和运用。

    5)能够理解对话中的语言点,运用目标语言进行听说训练,达
到综合运用所学知识的程度。

    2 情感目标

      了解一些日常用品的制成材料,增加生活常识,养成良好的生
活习惯:了解一些地方知名产品传统艺术品的制作过程以及制作材料,
培养学生的民族自豪感及爱国主义精神。

二、教学重难点

    1 一般现在时的被动语态的陈述句、一般疑问句和否定句的用
法。

    2 be made of, be made from 和 be made in 的用法区别 

三教学过程

Step1 Revision and Lead in

      (Look at some pictures) T: What is /are  this/these?

                             Ss:

                         T:What is it made of?

                             Ss:

Step2 Presentation (1a)

      Get the students to look at the things in 1a and ask what these 
things are usually made of ? And ask the students to match the things with 
the materials individually.Check their work.

Step3 Listening activities(1b)

    1 Listen and find the general idea.

    2 Listen again and match the products with what they are made of 
and where they were made.

    3 Check the answers.

Step4 Post-listening activities(1c)

    1 Get the students to  practice the conversation in 1a. 

    2 Ask the students to read after the tape of 1b sentence by 
sentence.

Step5 Pairwork

Have the students make conversations using the information in 1b.

      e.g.

      A :This...looks.... Is it made of... ?

      B: Yes,and it was made in ....

    3 Get some pairs to present their conversations to the whole class.

Step 6  Group work

      Work in groups. Ask the students to talk about somethings which 
  they know.

      e.g.

      A: What is /are  this/these ?

      B: It /They  is/are ...

      C:What is/are it/they made of/from ?

      D:It /They  is/are made of/from 

      E:Where  is/are it/they made ?

      F:It /They  is/are made in...

Step 7 Summary

      1 be made of, be made from 和 be made in 的用法区别

Step 8 Homework

      Do a survey about at least 5 things what they are made of/from 
and where they are made .
