  No. The map helped John Snow organize his ideas and provide him 
  valuable clues. After he collected information and marked the 
  information on the map, he would clearly know the position where 
  all these dead people lived and where there were no deaths, and 
  then he came up with the idea to check their drinking water and 
  thus he reached to the key point.
